Deputies’ Speeches on Exhibition Opened in Baku
1 / 8

On April 13, by Ararat Mirzoyan’s presentation the parliament approved the draft laws of the agendas of the sixth session of the RA NA seventh convocation, as well as the regular sittings.

After approving the agenda, the deputies delivered condemning speeches, touching upon the opening of exhibition-park which related to the war of September-November 2020. In the park along with the Armenian military equipment, mannequins of the Armenian military servicemen of the Armenian Armed Forces are displayed, all of which presented in a degrading manner, violating human dignity.

Nazeli Baghdasaryan: This is, perhaps, a slap not only in the face of the humankind, but also in the all-human values, because the high level of Armenophobia that is an undeniable and inseparable part, was shown to the whole world.

Gor Gevorgyan: The exhibition is nothing, but a regular display of systemized extreme Armenoaphobia. The authorities of Azerbaijan that entered into the 21st century, but believes savage morals characteristic to prehistoric man, continue their anti-Armenian policy that also endangers the regional stability and security.

Arman Babajanyan: The speech given by President of Azerbaijan yesterday was the sincerest one that we have heard by now from him. He promises to break all the rising heads that think about revenge. This does not give any doubt that the captive Armenian servicemen are really hostages.

Vladimir Vardanyan: I would like simply to inform you that no exceptional thing has happened, and what takes place in Azerbaijan is called ordinary fascism. Yes, in Azerbaijan racist world order has been formed: there exist all standards which would let classify that state among the racist ones. Again in April, 106 years ago from the Armenian Genocide, the genocidal goal is implemented.

Arman Abovyan: I think we can consider the discourse closed. Are Turkey and Azerbaijan enemies or not? Yes, they are enemies and barbarous states. They generate hatred against us.

Taron Simonyan : If the adversary makes mistakes, then will you let those mistakes to be continued and then learn lessons from it in time. The only problem remains that we’ll organize our behavior in a right way in order we will be able to solve our problem at the necessary moment.

Edmon Marukyan: Does it seem to us that we deliver condemning speeches in our parliament, it will have an impact on Azerbaijan? They will look at us and say that by opening a park a whole country has been mixed up. And what we were doing so that those parks will not open.

Arman Yeghoyan: Yesterday evening the Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan and me were taking part in a rather enlarged webinar organized by Armenian Cause/ Hye Dat and our colleagues from the European Parliament. We presented in detail the situation of the last months, especially touched upon the so-called opened museum in Baku. Hence, let us act united in the foreign sphere and not to use the external challenges for settling inner scores.
